DescriptionMarkon is seeking a Technical Targeting Analyst (Level III) to provide mission-critical support to an Intelligence Community client. This position will review, analyze, and respond to requests for analytic products covering a broad spectrum of national and global intelligence topics. The Technical Targeting Analyst will leverage technical tools and databases alongside all-source intelligence to identify and develop leads, requiring close collaboration, appropriate information sharing, and the ability to adapt analytical capabilities to evolving mission requirements.NOTE: This position requires up to 10% travel, as needed and dictated by the end client.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and respond to requests for intelligence and analytic products.
- Develop analytic products addressing a wide range of topics relevant at the national and global level.
- Leverage technical targeting tools and databases to support intelligence analysis.
- Analyze and correlate technical information with all-source intelligence to identify and develop actionable leads.
- Analyze current and emerging intelligence issues in support of customer mission requirements.
- Develop intelligence reports based on available technical and all-source information.
- Leverage collection capabilities and dissemination systems to support targeting and analytic activities.
- Support the development and exploitation of target networks.
- Identify relationships, patterns, and relevant technical information that contribute to target development.
- Collaborate with analysts and mission partners to leverage broader organizational capabilities in support of mission objectives.
- Share intelligence and technical information appropriately across teams and stakeholders.
- Organize and manage multiple analytic requirements in a dynamic mission environment.
- Adapt analytic approaches and priorities in response to unexpected or rapidly changing customer requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must possess an active, current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the specific technical skill and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; OR
- Associate’s degree and a minimum of 9 years of related work experience; OR
- No degree and a minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
- Experience with intelligence collection capabilities and dissemination systems.
- Experience analyzing current and emerging intelligence issues.
- Experience developing and producing intelligence reports.
- Demonstrated experience with technical targeting tools.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to adapt to dynamic and unexpected customer requirements.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% CONUS or OCONUS, approximately quarterly and for periods of up to one week.
Desired:
- Area of Responsibility (AOR)-specific knowledge and experience.
- Relevant foreign language capability.
- Background and experience in target network development and exploitation.
Salary RangeUSD $160,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
