About the RoleThe Technical Systems Administrator II is responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products. This role ensures the smooth operation of IT systems, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and enhances service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will install, configure, and maintain internal computer hardware and software systems while performing regular system upgrades and patches to ensure optimal performance and security. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner and monitor system performance to ensure compliance with security standards. Collaboration with engineering and business teams will be essential to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions. Additionally, you will continuously assess and improve processes to enhance service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement, supporting improvement plans, and assisting in their implementation. You will maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, as well as provide technical support and training to end-users as needed. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies will be crucial to ensuring the company's IT infrastructure remains current and effective.
About YouMinimum Qualifications:- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
- Typically 2+ years of related experience.
- Certification: varies by business system.
- Solid understanding of IT systems, software configuration, CI/CD, engineering, and business processes.
- Proficiency in software environments and upgrades.
- Possesses a basic understanding of IT systems, software configuration, and business processes.
Preferred Qualifications:- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Experience with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and software applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of network configurations and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Compensation:Pay Range:
$83,830.00 - $115,287.25
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
