Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Scrum Master to lead Agile software development teams in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role combines Agile leadership with strong technical oversight, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate excels at facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, aligning technical execution with program goals, and communicating effectively with stakeholders across multiple organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Agile product teams within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
  • Provide technical leadership to ensure alignment with client needs, program goals, and delivery timelines.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and PI events.
  • Track and report Agile metrics, including velocity, burn-downs, and delivery performance.
  • Identify, manage, and remove team impediments and blockers to support continuous delivery.
  • Support release planning, system design, and system implementation activities.
  • Ensure team performance and accountability for delivery of documented deliverables.
  • Create meeting agendas and track action items to closure.
  • Facilitate clear communication across teams and provide regular updates to leadership, product owners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present status briefings on product and delivery progress.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple organizations.
  • Assist program and quality leadership with the creation of contract and program deliverable documentation.

Qualifications

Required
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects with multiple competing priorities.
  • 3+ years of experience managing IT projects using Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, software engineering, or IT systems/network architecture supporting enterprise solutions.
  • Strong ability to work with technically and geographically diverse teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional team environments while meeting aggressive timelines and quality standards.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of related professional experience.

Desired
  • Experience working in a SAFe environment.
  • Background in systems analysis.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
  • Familiarity with network and IT monitoring concepts.
  • Experience using or supporting tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, or Tableau.
  • ITIL v4 Certification.
