TECHNICAL REPAIR COORDINATORLocation: Calgary Service Center

Pay Range: The base pay range for this position is $80,000 - 90,000 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Join our Calgary Service Center as a Technical Repair Coordinator! Seeking a candidate with pump experience or rotating equipment experience.The Technical Repair Coordinator acts as the liaison between the customer, sales, vendors, engineering, and production; determines and provides detailed cost summaries and quotations for repair jobs in the service center and coordinates repair by providing Work Instructions that include all pertinent information needed to process the repair through the service center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Ensures order execution is in compliance with customer needs and customer contract requirements.
- Acts as point of contact in service center for technical and commercial customer communications, regularly keeps customer updated on order status.
- Collaborates with Shop Superintendent/Shop Personnel and Engineering (as necessary) to develop repair strategies, work scopes, parts lists, and production requirements.
- Completes disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly work instruction packages (Work Orders, Prints, Procedures, Inspection forms, etc.).
- Generates written Work Scope and calculates costs for materials, labor and outsource activities.
- Engages with 3rd party vendors to obtain price and lead time for parts and services, and act as liaison for technical questions and issues.
- Prepares Inspection Reports and Repair Quotations
- As applicable, acts as service center buyer for order specific items: Procures required materials, services, and equipment and tracks as necessary to ensure on-time-delivery.
- As applicable, provide direction and definition to other service center personnel for purchase of order specific items.
- Compiles and prepares As-Built Documentation Packages
- Monitors all external and internal order activities related to component/assembly completion for on-time-delivery.
- Updates internal WIP tracking tools and participates in shop floor planning sessions to ensure customer technical and delivery requirements are met.
- As applicable, prepares and coordinates all inbound/outbound shipping related tasks required for the final transportation of product from/to customer.
- As required, oversees the management of order related inventory materials and reconciliation/reporting of physical inventory and production data.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES- Must be organized, detail oriented, very computer literate, with multi-tasking capability.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including diplomacy and negotiation skills.
- Solid knowledge of all manufacturing and shop processes related to repair of pumps and manufacturing of pump parts and or closely related equipment.
- Project Management experience is a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PDF editors such as Adobe or Nuance.
- Experience with SAP preferred, but not required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, strongly preferred, or equivalent education
- 5+ years' experience in a service center, production control, or manufacturing environment. Preferably rotating equipment.
