You will have full ownership of project execution, including schedule, budget, technical scope, quality, and customer satisfaction. Projects typically include targeted technical upgrades, machine retools, complex system integrations, international production lines, and testing systems delivered to global customers across Automotive, Battery/EV, Electronics, Hydrogen (H2), and Consumer Goods sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution
  • Translate customer requirements and contractual commitments into a clear project scope, objectives, and actionable deliverables.
  • Develop and rigorously maintain integrated project schedules, critical path milestones, and resource allocation plans using standard project management tools.
  • Monitor project progress against the baseline, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to BMG quality standard.
  • Lead on-site installation, commissioning, and final acceptance activities at the customer's facility, ensuring a smooth handover.

Global Cross-Functional Team Leadership
  • Direct and synchronize multidisciplinary international teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Software) across various worldwide BMG locations.
  • Serve as the General Contractor for the project, owning the end-to-end sourcing of machinery and subsystems from global BMG sites, and managing their final integration, commissioning, and delivery in the US.
  • Foster a highly collaborative environment between international engineering hubs, third-party suppliers, and the local US execution teams (Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Commissioning).

Customer and Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary customer interface throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Professionally manage customer expectations, scope modifications, and escalations with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Deliver transparent and concise reporting on project status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPI's) to all stakeholders.

Commercial and Risk Management
  • Own project's financial performance, including budget and margin targets.
  • Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, and operational risks.
  • Manage structured change processes, including impact analysis and approvals.
