Project Manager to lead complex new product development initiatives within the high-speed connectivity and electronics manufacturing industry. The Project Manager role is ideal for a technically skilled leader with experience managing cross-functional teams, driving project execution, and ensuring alignment with customer and business objectives. Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
• Manage full lifecycle of product development projects including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Lead cross-functional and global project teams while ensuring alignment to project scope and objectives.
• Serve as the communication liaison to Program Management for project status, schedules, and requirements.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure timelines are met.
• Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Monitor project budgets and financial performance including capital requests and product costing.
• Drive decision-making to accelerate timelines related to market entry, volume production, and profitability.
• Ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles are incorporated throughout development.
• Oversee capacity planning to meet projected demand across project phases.
• Support implementation of systems required for product ordering and manufacturing readiness.
• Identify and mitigate risks using structured risk management and root cause analysis techniques.
• Collaborate globally with teams across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.
Qualifications of the Project Manager:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably within connectors or electronics manufacturing. Also most have preferred experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, variable environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience managing global or multi-site project teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while providing clear status updates.
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies and risk management practices.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
Compensation for the Project Manager includes:
• Salary range: $70,000 - $110,000
