Duties: The project Manager will directly interface with the clinical sites and be integrated in their environment. The project manager will liaise with the clinical site's study teams, IT teams, alliances and partnerships team, and site leadership. The Project Manager will keep track of project deliverables and time lines and make sure communication flows between teams at each site and back to the Roche team. This individual should also be familiar with clinical research informatics including databases, integration flows and IT architecture on a high level.
Skills: - Experience with clinical research informatics including databases, integration flows and IT architecture on a high level. - 5 years experience in Project management in a technical environment; PMP certification preferred - Intermediate to advanced skill with project planning tools ( Microsoft Project, smartsheets) - Server and network administration and engineering experience (preferred) - High-level understanding of IT infrastructure; ie, Client Server and web-based communications and operations, virtualizations, SANs, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, VPN, etc. - Experience with different database types: SQL, Relational, MPP , distributed and NoSQL - Knowledge and understanding of cloud technologies (general knowledge of AWS cloud) - Experience working in a distributed work environment.
Education: Bachelor/Master degree in one of the related fields (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Information Systems) or equivalent work-related experience
