SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
Technical Project Manager with strong Azure expertise to lead cloud-driven initiatives, manage cross-functional delivery teams, and ensure successful execution of enterprise technology programs. The ideal candidate has a deep technical understanding of Azure services, strong project governance skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of Azure-focused projects, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams, architects, stakeholders, and vendors to define project scope, technical requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Oversee Azure-based solution design, development, integration, and deployment activities.
- Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies as required.
- Ensure robust project governance, risk tracking, issue management, and change control processes.
- Monitor cloud project performance, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to ensure all Azure solutions meet organizational standards.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level dashboards, project status reports, and communication updates.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration to resolve technical challenges and dependency issues.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract oversight, and third-party deliverables as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of IT project management experience, including 5+ years managing Azure-based initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure architecture, migration, security, networking, DevOps, and cloud-native development.
- Proven experience leading cloud transformation, modernization, or large-scale enterprise cloud projects.
- Proficiency in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent skills in project planning, resource management, budgeting, and delivery execution.
- Ability to work with technical teams (cloud engineers, developers, architects) and translate complex details into clear business terms.
- Outstanding written, verbal communication, and stakeholder management capability.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines) preferred.
- PMP, CSM, or Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-305) are a strong plus.
Preferred Experience - Experience in cloud migrations, data center transformation, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Background working in large enterprise or complex multi-team environments.
- Vendor and third-party management experience, including SOW and contract oversight.
