Full Job Description
The Position: We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex projects involving hardware and software modifications for the CH-47F Block II platform for United States Government and Foreign Military Sales customers.

The Location: Redstone Arsenal, AL

The Work Environment: On-Site

The Description:
  • The ideal candidate will leverage their deep subject matter expertise in H-47 maintenance and logistics to drive projects from conception to completion. responsible for managing schedules, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all technical and supportability logistics requirements are met.
  • Work with and as a Project Lead to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable contract language.
  • Review and approve Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements, and Contract Data Requirement Lists to ensure project scope is clearly defined.
  • Apply H-47 expertise to oversee engineering design, review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and identify potential impacts to the aircraft at the subsystem and system levels for USG and FMS Block II aircraft.
  • Proactively manage risks related to mission reliability and logistics supportability.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals, providing recommendations to Contracting Officers. Serve as a key approver for contractor deliveries in TopVue, ensuring all products are reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to review engineering drawings, parts lists, and models; strong working knowledge of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).

Education & Experience:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance, required.
  • Bachelor's degree and atleast ten (10) years of relevant experience.
    • Allowable Substitutions:
      • Associate's degree and twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
      • High School Diploma/GED and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.

Travel:
  • On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
