OverviewEdgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager 2 to support a major national laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Supports and manages discrete technical construction scope, ensuring timely completion of all project elements.
- Oversees technical requirements; defines and manages project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks; and supports,while at times leading,the project team in planning, tracking, and executing the scope from initiation through turnover.
- Manages project activities in alignment with Triad27s prime contract,National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), and Department of Energy (DOE) 413.3Brequirements.Work is organized into control accounts and corresponding work packages that define tasks necessary to meet programmatic objectives.
- Reports to the Manager of Projects (MOP) and is responsible for the daytoday administrative and operational management of an assignedproject/programarea.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating policies, procedures, and standards related to construction and work execution within a nuclear facility.
- Supportsdevelopment and monitoring of program budgets and provides technical guidance to project teams, support departments, and matrixed resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience; in lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable.
- U.S. Citizenship is required per contract. Active U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance required.
Prior construction experience, particularly supporting work in a nuclear facility.
Candidates must have extensive experience working compliantly within strict nuclear security and classification environments.
Additional preferred experience includes work planning and controls; effective coordination and communication betweenrepresentatives ofconstruction, operations, and support organizations such as radiological control,criticality/nuclear/occupational safety.
