Overview

LMI is seeking a proficient Technical Program Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic and complex United States Postal Service (USPS) portfolio. We need a candidate who excels in organizing and standardizing the flow of information and reports throughout the chain of command, utilizing advanced tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and AI and Machine Learning.  This role requires someone with experience supporting government contracts, creating and analyzing project deliverables, and handling sensitive data and projections. The ideal candidate will also excel in tracking multiple project interdependencies, managing project lifecycles, critical thinking, and fostering business growth while maintaining the highest standards of ethical behavior. The primary responsibility will be to innovate and implement new tools and solutions to streamline operations and enhance communication, providing clients with intuitive, fingertip access to essential information.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include: 

  • Work within program management office to oversee multiple stakeholders and project schedule interdependencies
  • Effectively communicate with the geographically dispersed project team that includes subcontractors, subject matter experts, and client personnel  
  • Work semi-autonomously with project stakeholders to resolve complex project scheduling issues
  • Demonstrate commitment to the project team by seeking opportunities to take on tasks and actively engage with teammates
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in requirements decomposition and systems integration  
  • Supporting consulting projects and initiatives such as automating team infrastructure
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of strategies and plans; developing project deliverables, conducting analysis, and responding to client requests
  • Supporting project management and scheduling activities
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with zero to two years of experience in one (or multiple) practices: project management; project scheduling; business process improvement; business consulting; continuous improvement
  • Moderate skills and proficiency with Microsoft products: Power Apps, Power BI, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Must demonstrate soft skills such as: relationship building; influencing others; emotional intelligence; and exemplary communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must align personal goals with team objectives, creating a personal brand that enhances the team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Successful performance operating within a fast paced, autonomous and collaborative virtual environment
  • Ability to thrive in multiple ambiguous environments; take initiative to exceed client expectations
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations
  • Significant understanding of project management fundamentals and ability to work within project constraints

  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder); if Green Card holder, must have resided in the US for the last 5 years and must not have traveled outside of the US for a combined total of 6 months during that time

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Project management consultancy experience supporting program operations across large, complex projects/portfolios
  • Experience with/certification in: SAFe; ProSci; LeanSixSigma; CPBA; or LUMA HCD certified
  • Experience with project management software, dashboards, and automated agile tools
  • Strong working knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Excellent working knowledge AI/LLM prompt engineering, Machine Learning, and AI-enabled development
  • Strong working knowledge of the SDLC
  • Project management consulting experience

Target salary range: $75,000-$90,000
