Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Software Test Program Manager to lead cross-functional planning, test execution, hardware/software configuration, defect management, and Agile program delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain the project plan, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
  • Lead the holistic gathering of product requirements and project scope across multiple teams and business functions.
  • Monitor progress against the plan and design recovery strategies when the project deviates from the baseline plan.
  • Assemble and publish effective status reports for a variety of audiences, from project team members to executives.
  • Design and deliver executive-level presentations to support the governance process for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Design and facilitate effective program-level meetings to communicate status and coordinate efforts.
  • Collaborate with peers, managers, and team members across the organization to solve problems, develop plans, and coordinate work.
  • Promote and encourage collaboration and transparency while building trusting relationships among business, delivery, and other organizational entities.
  • Play an instrumental role in the organization's Agile transformation by acting as a change agent and demonstrating strong leadership with a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Develop test cycle plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Define project scope by prioritizing features and platform systems under test, considering the Product Direction Letter, program priorities, test strategy, and applicable policies.
  • Build and manage the product backlog, maintaining transparency so that it is understood by the team.
  • Lead the creation of Test Epics for features and platform systems as part of preparation for PI Planning and continue this work during Team Breakout Sessions.
  • Participate in Scrum events and collaborate with the team.
  • Conduct retrospectives on completed projects to support improvements to processes, policies, and toolsets.
  • Define and specify the required vehicle variants to support the scope of the test project.
  • Plan, procure, and maintain vehicle components, including surrogate, prototype, and instrumented parts.
  • Analyze bills of materials for target and donor programs to identify surrogate parts, minimize unnecessary orders, and exclude simulated components.
  • Define test cycles in alignment with software release schedules, the software change management process, and prototype software delivery.
  • Obtain and maintain ARXML files and communicate updated files to the modeling and interface teams.
  • Communicate software release information to the test team.
  • Monitor and report progress of test project execution, software maturity, and vehicle hardware and software defects.
  • Ensure all P0 and P1 defects are discussed in Program Scrum meetings.
  • Regularly analyze Jira dashboards to understand progress and overall program health.
  • Follow up on and manage the incident lifecycle to ensure timely incident disposition.
