Full Job Description
The Role: As a Technical Program Manager for Power Electronics, you won't just manage schedules; you will own the end-to-end execution of complex, industry-defining engineering programs from initial concept through volume manufacturing. You will serve as the critical linchpin aligning our global engineering, supply chain, and external partners. What You Will Do:
  • Drive Execution: Own the full lifecycle planning, scheduling, and execution of mission-critical power electronics programs, ensuring aggressive company milestones are met.
  • Lead Cross-Functionally: Act as the central nervous system connecting engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and product quality teams. Influence and align diverse global teams to resolve roadblocks without needing direct authority.
  • Navigate Technical Complexity: Drive rigorous technical discussions, guide design trade-offs, and lead technical design reviews to ensure robust performance and manufacturability.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Anticipate bottlenecks before they happen. Develop robust mitigation strategies and ensure clear communication regarding budget, resource usage, and team availability.
  • Scale for Production: Coordinate onsite prototype and early-stage production builds with contract manufacturers, rapidly identifying and resolving issues to accelerate time-to-market.
  • Continuous Optimization: Relentlessly identify opportunities to optimize workflows, enhance technical designs, and drive overall operational efficiency.

What You Bring:
  • Education: BS or MS degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Domain Expertise: 3-5+ years of hands-on program management experience specifically in power electronics, PCBA design, development, or hardware systems engineering.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in taking complex, multi-disciplinary technical programs from concept to high-volume production.
  • Strategic Problem Solver: Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Ability to distill complex technical challenges into clear, actionable insights for engineering teams, external vendors, and executive leadership.
  • Mission-Driven: A deep passion for accelerating the adoption of renewables and improving our energy infrastructure

Our Compensation Philosophy: Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The salary range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is: $120,000 - 145,000 USD.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company's sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
