As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

You will be joining the Data Cloud team as a Technical Program Management driving execution, communication and planning for DataCloud products and Services

In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with senior engineering leaders and multiple collaborative teams across the Data Cloud Portfolio. You will help shape the roadmap and strategy, increase customer adoption with critical features.

As the Data Cloud portfolio continues to grow, this role provides a lot of growth opportunities in the long term and your passion, leadership, excellent organizational and communication skills, customer focus and deep technical experience will be critical assets for you to deliver and thrive in this role.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) 20% bonus target equity benefits

Responsibilities
  • Set the vision and direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and running multiple projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
  • Drive consistency between Cloud processes and central processes. Bring visibility and strengthen communication across the teams.
  • Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery across the complete portfolio of Data Cloud products and solutions.
  • Engage with engineering directors, product leaders and other Technical Program Manager (TPM) groups, to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), release on time, leverage AI tooling for efficiencies and help the teams you are engaged with in execution.
  • Mentor junior team members, act as a role model and advocate the TPM role.
