We are searching for the best talent for our Lead, Technology Product Owner role.

Purpose:

As a Technical Product Owner within the Content & Marketing Experiences product group, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience and driving business growth through personalized content marketing experiences across our existing and emerging channels. You will support the development and execution of technology strategies for the Innovative Medicines North America and the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO), ensuring the development evolution of our digital platforms to support business objectives and shape future user experiences. In this position, you will collaborate closely with business leaders, functional teams, & engineers, developers, vendors, external agencies, and partners to shape the case for personalization features and functionalities, and guide technology strategy.

Applying data-driven insights, you will partner with product teams to optimize functionalities, boost user engagement, and ensure our products effectively meet the needs of our target audiences. Your work will drive product strategy while employing and cultivating our supporting digital capabilities to increase user satisfaction, retention, and loyalty, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

You will be responsible for:

Customer-Centric Innovation: Devise and complete the technology roadmap and go-to-market strategy for both branded and unbranded properties. Lead the vision, prioritization, and implementation of new technical features and enhancements to our experience products, including personalized and targeted content solutions. Implement innovative strategies that align with business needs while balancing technical feasibility with business value.

Data Analysis & Insights Generation: Collect, analyze, and interpret user data to identify patterns and trends that inform and refine personalization strategies. Ensure that tailored experiences meet customer needs and enhance overall user engagement.

Research & Market Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor strategies. Apply these insights to keep our products driven, innovative, and aligned with market developments.

Product Development: Engage the business regarding development needs for digital products. Write, handle and clarify user stories, prioritize product backlog, develop use cases for complex requirements. Support agile processes by participating in sprint planning & ensuring deliverables are available for upcoming sprints. Document user acceptance testing and satisfaction of business requirements.

Stakeholder Management: Assess, measure and communicate expected outcomes in terms of user engagement, business impact, etc., and utilize digital metrics & analytics to assess and report on value delivery as required. Perform impact analysis of new releases and deployments and leads all related communications. Issue regular and clear communications on schedules ,deadlines and interdependencies. Work with Technology Services teams on demand planning, effort, timing, delivery and support of new demand.

Product Lifecycle Management and Operational Excellence: Maintain processes, and operational structures to ensure consistent, high-quality, compliant, and timely delivery. Measure value realization throughout the product lifecycle by incorporating external benchmarks, key performance indicators, team health metrics, and product maturity assessments. Foster a data-driven, insights-oriented culture to continuously optimize product performance and team effectiveness.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Experience Design, Information Architecture, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • 7+ Experience leading strategy and development of targeted digital products and services with a proven history of delivering valuable outcomes for customer-facing digital properties for large organizations. Includes but not limited to: MVP definition, customer/market research, go-to-market strategies and budgeting.
  • Experience leading cross-functional product teams, including internal employees, contractors, agencies, and vendor partners
  • Ability to define, refine, and scale digital product capabilities from initial concept through launch and subsequent optimization, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Experience shaping and leading cross platform solutions
  • Strong problem-solving, design thinking, communication and influencing skills, including ability to drive adoption of new thinking and approaches.
  • Proven track record in applying data for decision-making, delivering process improvement plans, surfacing areas of opportunity and assessing performance and value delivery.
  • Deep commitment to user-centric design, encompassing UX, CX, and accessibility, underscored by strong familiarity with site architecture, design, navigation strategies, and quality assurance processes. Experience using and/or updating design systems as well as familiarity with Figma or similar tools.
  • Technology solution implementation experience using Agile methodologies from concept through delivery, along with continuous improvement and operations is required. Experience with agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Understanding of regulatory, compliance privacy and legal guardrails and policies.
  • A drive for staying abreast of digital trends and industry advances, with a focus on continuous learning.


Preferred
  • Experience managing website products and/or supporting platforms, including content delivery, personalization, search engine optimization (SEO), generative engine optimization (GEO), analytics, and AI-enabled customer engagement capabilities.
  • Experience working with Search engine optimization, Answer engine optimization tagging, profiling & analytics is preferred.
  • Experience and/or strong understanding of marketing automation platforms enhanced with AI and agentic AI tools.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry and related Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) review processes.
  • Experience with planning, developing, deploying, and operating marketing technology (MarTech) systems, and/or integrations that enhance product performance and increase the effectiveness of customer engagement.
