About the positionThe Product Manager will join the Keyfactor Platform team, responsible for overseeing the product lifecycle for Keyfactor's SaaS Platform, from ideation to launch and beyond. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and a hands-on approach that includes owning the product backlog and working closely with engineering teams to deliver products that align with the company's vision and objectives.
Job Responsibilities- Define product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Develop product roadmaps and prioritize features based on business value, customer feedback, and market demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to bring products to market.
- Own and maintain the product backlog, translating features and functionality into clear, well-defined engineering tasks and technical requirements.
- Create detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with engineering teams to oversee the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on features to improve user experience and satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries.
- Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and customers.
Required Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role in product management.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to learn new tools, technologies, and concepts independently.
- Comfort engaging with technical concepts such as PKI, cryptography, or enterprise security software, and working across Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:- Experience in PKI, cryptography, cybersecurity, or enterprise security software.
- Experience using AI tools to drive measurable outcomes, such as backlog grooming, synthesizing customer feedback, or drafting PRDs/User Stories.
Travel Requirements.Up to 10% travel time required.
Compensation Salary will be commensurate with experience.
