Overview

BRMi is seeking a Technical Product Analyst that partners with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements that drive enterprise technology initiatives. This role supports the full product lifecycle by translating business needs into actionable requirements, managing Agile delivery processes, supporting cloud and SaaS implementations, mitigating project risks, and ensuring successful solution delivery. The analyst serves as the liaison between business and technology teams while supporting planning, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts across multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors to gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, use case development, process modeling, journey mapping, and data analysis.
  • Translate business needs into Features, Product Backlog Items (PBIs), User Stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation using Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including Scrum meetings, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements reviews.
  • Manage Azure DevOps boards, product backlogs, work items, and sprint deliverables.
  • Support Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery methodologies while helping teams achieve quarterly objectives and portfolio milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to support software development, cloud migrations, SaaS implementations, system enhancements, upgrades, and production deployments.
  • Partner with vendors throughout the solution lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Analyze real-time and batch-based data integrations, system interfaces, and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Document business workflows, system architecture, process flows, data mappings, reporting requirements, authentication methods (SAML, OAuth2/OIDC), and system integrations.
  • Develop technical design documentation including architecture overviews, interface specifications, attribute mappings, and data flow diagrams.
  • Work closely with architects and engineers to document solution designs, decision points, exception handling, and error management processes.
  • Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and exceptions while coordinating mitigation strategies with project teams.
  • Prepare and submit required risk assessments and support governance activities.
  • Evaluate alternative business solutions, technologies, and process improvements.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, metrics, dashboards, and portfolio status updates.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support multiple concurrent initiatives while ensuring quality documentation and timely project delivery
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 8+ years of experience as a Technical Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Technology Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
  • Experience creating Features, PBIs, User Stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO), including board management and backlog administration.
  • Experience supporting Agile software development using Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional business, engineering, architecture, and vendor teams.
  • Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives, SaaS implementations, and enterprise application deployments.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience documenting business workflows, process models, system integrations, data mappings, and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with authentication and identity technologies including SAML, OAuth2/OIDC, and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience supporting real-time and batch data processing and system integrations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting financial services organizations or highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • SAFe Agilist, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Lean Portfolio Management, or related SAFe certification.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • Microsoft Azure, DevOps, or other relevant technology certifications.
