Full-time
Description
Role purpose
Own strategic integrations end-to-end: identify the right partners, structure win-win commercial terms, and drive technical execution to ship integrations that produce measurable business impact.
Key responsibilities
Build and close the right partner pipeline:
• Identify, qualify, and prioritize integration partners based on clear ROI (activation, conversion, revenue, retention, support deflection).
• Run partner discovery to understand workflows, constraints, decision process, and success metrics.
• Drive outbound and inbound partner motion with clear narratives and deal hypotheses.
Lead deal shaping and negotiation:
• Own scope, value exchange, ownership model, timelines, and launch criteria.
• Align partner commitments for launch and ongoing growth (co-marketing, enablement, distribution, joint targets).
• Ensure commercial terms match delivery reality (support expectations, SLAs, escalation paths).
Drive technical execution (with hands-on capability):
• Translate partner needs into clear integration requirements and technical specs.
• Define the integration approach: auth/permissions, data mapping, sync patterns, error handling, monitoring, and rollout plan.
• Validate and de-risk early using lightweight technical work:
• API exploration and test calls (Postman, curl)
• Basic scripts for payload validation, data checks, and troubleshooting (Python/Node/SQL)
• Repro steps and debugging with logs and request traces
Own cross-functional delivery and launch:
• Coordinate Engineering, Product, Ops, CS, and Sales enablement through build ? QA ? launch.
• Run weekly execution cadence, track risks/dependencies, and unblock decisions fast.
• Create launch readiness artifacts: test plan, support playbook, incident process, rollout plan, training notes.
Operate and grow integrations post-launch:
• Own KPIs and operating rhythm (weekly health checks, monthly reviews, QBRs).
• Drive adoption improvements and expansion opportunities with partners.
• Maintain quality via bug triage and stability improvements.
Use AI as a core workflow:
• Speed up partner research, account mapping, outreach drafts, spec writing, test plans, release notes, and stakeholder updates.
• Maintain a clean single source of truth for each integration: scope, status, owners, risks, and metrics.
Requirements
• 3-5 years in technical partnerships, BD, integrations, platform PM, or technical programs.
• Proven ability to source partners, negotiate terms, and ship integrations.
• Technical fluency: REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth/API keys, data mapping, idempotency, retries, monitoring, incident response.
• Comfortable doing basic coding or scripting to validate assumptions and unblock execution.
• Strong written communication and structured execution across multiple stakeholders.
Success metrics:
• Integrations shipped to production with clear adoption and business impact targets
• Reduced cycle time from spec ? launch
• Stable post-launch performance (low incident rate, fast time-to-recovery)
• Partner satisfaction and repeatable expansion path
