Technical Manager, Water InfrastructureLocation: Mid-Atlantic (Richmond, VA/Arlington, VA/Hunt valley, MD)Job DescriptionYour key tasks and responsibilities will be:- Leading technical linear infrastructure designs and preparation of contract documents for municipal and industrial clients, including planning, execution and close-out.
- Assisting in the development of design concepts and criteria, analysis and design approach/methodologies, alternative design evaluations and constructability reviews.
- Preparation of detailed design calculations; engineering computation/technical reports; construction plans and specifications for projects with medium to high levels of complexity; and QA/QC and value engineering reviews of same.
- Performing bid phase and construction phase services.
- Supporting business development proposal creation, project estimating and planning.
- Coordination and mentoring of technical staff and oversight of project teams, in collaboration with other Project Managers and those with People Management responsibilities.
- Involvement in technical societies and associations to stay current with engineering standards and practices and emerging technologies

- BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience (demonstrated expertise accepted) with technical proficiency in water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure design, including gravity pipeline design, pressure pipeline design and pipeline rehabilitation utilizing trenchless technologies.
- Proficiency in understanding Federal, State, and local environmental regulations and how they apply to our Municipal and Industrial clients.
- Knowledge and experience with major national and industrial engineering design codes, standards, guidelines, and best practices needed for design of complex structures and projects.
- PE license in VA, DC and/or MD required with ability to obtain multiple licenses through reciprocity.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting.
