Technical Program Lead
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Extensive experience in Automotive Vehicle Engineering, Systems Integration, or Body Engineering
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle from concept through production
• Knowledge of OEM gateway reviews, design release processes, and build support
• Prior experience as Chief Engineer, Vehicle Integration Lead, Technical Program Manager, or Lead DRE
• Experience supporting autonomous vehicle, ADAS, sensor integration, or vehicle platform integration programs
• Experience working directly with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
Roles & Responsibilities
• Act as the primary technical point of contact (SPOC) between OEM and the vendor team
• Manage technical escalations, risks, issues, and decision-making activities
• Provide overall engineering leadership across all workstreams and disciplines
• Ensure delivery of program milestones in line with the approved development schedule
• Drive cross-functional collaboration among DREs, CAD, PLM, Validation, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
• Provide regular program status, technical reviews, and escalation updates to management
• Own the overall technical solution and engineering strategy for the work required
• Review and approve engineering concepts, architectures, CAD releases, and design changes before release
• Lead technical reviews, design trade-off discussions, and decision-making forums
• Ensure compliance with available engineering standards, gateway requirements, and design processes
• Drive completion of design releases, BOM maturity, engineering documentation, and change management activities
• Guide the team on material selection, joining methods, fastening strategies, and manufacturing technologies

Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams (design, software) and non-technical teams (operations, technicians).
Education
BS in Mechanical Engineering (EE), Automotive Engineering (ME) or equivalent practical experience.

Salary Range: $110000 - 125000 a year
