Required Skills (Mandatory):
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL.

- Experience with SAS.

Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the Data/ETL Testing (EDT) team and own end-to-end quality deliverables.
- Drive testing strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across projects.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for data quality and pipeline validation.
- Mentor team members in Python, SQL, and ETL testing best practices.
Data Testing & Technical Oversight
Oversee quality across all phases:
- Requirement analysis
- Test design and scripting
- Test execution and reporting
- Lead ETL/data pipeline validation, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Use Python and SQL for:
- Data validation and reconciliation
- Automation of test cases
Data profiling and analysis
- Conduct and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for data issues and drive permanent fixes.
- Validate data transformations, mappings, and business rules.
Risk Identification & Quality Assurance
- Identify gaps, ambiguities, and inconsistencies in data flows, UI, and workflows.
Highlight risks related to:
- Technical debt
- Data quality issues
- Schedule slippage
- Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and quality standards, especially in Banking & Finance context.
Planning & Governance
- Estimate and manage the testing effort and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with Shared Services teams for testing needs.
- Manage PLC checkpoints, traceability, and test coverage metrics.
- Perform test result triage and ensure timely defect resolution.
- Provide regular updates on application/project health and data quality metrics.
Collaboration & Communication
Build strong partnerships with:
- Tech Leads
- Project Managers
- Business Analyst
- Data Engineers
Actively participate in:
- Grooming sessions
- Sprint planning & status meetings
- Lead the testing communication plan, ensuring transparency with stakeholders.
- Translate banking/business requirements into data validation scenarios
Salary Range - $100,000-$120,000 a year
