Location: Boulder, CO
Responsibilities:- Cross-Functional Integration & Troubleshooting: Serve as an integration expert, adept at understanding, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues spanning firmware, hardware, Linux kernel, and graphics. Collaborate closely with internal functional teams to drive effective solutions.
- Issue Management & Triage: Be an integral part of the team responsible for managing incoming bugs from users, partners, and the testing team. Will play a key role in triaging these issues and facilitating their resolution across various internal functional teams.
- Process and Tool Enhancement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing processes, infrastructure, tests, and tools based on your experience in managing issues, ultimately streamlining the issue management lifecycle.
- Bug Tracking & Reporting: Ensure that bug reports contain all necessary information for efficient debugging and resolution (e.g., log files, reproduction scenarios). You will also track the resolution of critical blocking bugs and analyze bug trends to generate comprehensive reports.
- Tool Development: Develop robust tools to generate reliable logs and build systems for effective log analysis, contributing directly to the quality of the ChromeOS ecosystem by assisting the team in addressing incoming bugs.
- Documentation: Create clear and concise troubleshooting tips and guides for various technical domains, enhancing knowledge sharing and problem-solving capabilities within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Debugging & Analysis: Proven ability to effectively triage and analyze technical issues, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of relevant APIs and libraries to obtain necessary logs and generate reports.
- Version Control Expertise: Strong understanding and practical experience with Git and repo sync for managing code and collaborating on projects.
- Linux Fundamentals: A solid grasp of Linux operating system principles and command-line operations is crucial for navigating and developing within the ChromeOS ecosystem.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to co-work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment for issue resolution.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical issues and document solutions clearly.
Mandatory Skills: Google Cloud Data Platform Engineering.
Experience: 5-8 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
