Overview

This role provides critical analytical support across intelligence disciplines including Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME), cyber intelligence, and emerging technology analysis. The Technical Intelligence Analyst will support strategic and operational missions through research, technical assessments, systems analysis, and intelligence reporting that inform national security decision-making.

The position supports high-priority national defense missions and may require onsite work at government facilities based on program requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical intelligence analysis supporting defense, cyber, space, air, missile, and emerging threat missions
  • Perform lifecycle systems analyses including technical studies, trade studies, verification and validation, integration analysis, and operational supportability assessments
  • Analyze foreign technologies, weapons systems, cyber capabilities, and adversarial operational trends
  • Support intelligence production across GEOINT, MASINT, OSINT, all-source intelligence, and Foreign Materiel Exploitation activities
  • Develop analytical assessments, technical reports, briefings, and mission recommendations for senior government stakeholders
  • Evaluate intelligence data from classified and open-source reporting to identify patterns, risks, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats
  • Collaborate with engineers, scientists, analysts, and operational teams to support mission planning and technology assessments
  • Support requirements development, interface definition, and technical capability analysis for mission systems and operational platforms
  • Conduct research and analytical support for technology modernization, strategic competition, and operational readiness initiatives
  • Assist with operational analysis, mission effectiveness evaluations, and risk assessments
  • Provide technical expertise supporting intelligence programs, acquisition activities, and mission capability development
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and mission partners
  • Support proposal development, capture activities, and technical solutioning efforts as required


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, International Relations, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience supporting DoD, IC, national security, or technical intelligence missions
  • Experience conducting technical analysis within one or more intelligence disciplines including GEOINT, MASINT, SIGINT, OSINT, or FME
  • Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience developing intelligence reports, technical assessments, and executive-level briefings
  • Knowledge of intelligence analysis methodologies, collection processes, and analytical tradecraft
  • Familiarity with defense systems, emerging technologies, cyber threats, or foreign capabilities analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced mission environments
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required


Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a technical or intelligence-related discipline
  • Experience supporting NASIC, DIA, NGA, NSA, DoD Service Intelligence Centers, or other IC organizations
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics, AI/ML-enabled intelligence systems, or data fusion platforms
  • Experience supporting technical intelligence production related to aerospace, cyber, missile, ISR, or space systems
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and defense acquisition processes
  • Experience with intelligence databases, analytical platforms, and visualization tools
  • Understanding of threat modeling, operational analysis, and mission impact assessments
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA)
    • Security+
    • CISSP
    • Certified GEOINT Professional (CGP)
    • AWS or Azure cloud certifications
