Full Job Description
*This position requires a TS/SCI Clearance.* *This position is contingent on award* *This position may require up to six months of deployment annually* Responsibilities: - Review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling, logic, clarity, consistency, and overall readability. - Edit and standardize intelligence products to ensure compliance with applicable agency publication standards, prescribed style guides, formatting requirements, and subject-matter terminology. - Review and revise specialized intelligence terminology and language to ensure accurate, consistent, and appropriate presentation for the intended audience. - Review and edit tables, tone boxes, graphics, captions, and other visual elements to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and alignment with accompanying narrative. - Verify and correct classification markings, portion markings, banners, caveats, and handling instructions in accordance with applicable IC guidance and security requirements. - Evaluate the organization and flow of draft intelligence products and recommend structural revisions to improve clarity, logic, coherence, and effectiveness. - Collaborate directly with intelligence analysts and authors to resolve editorial issues, clarify content, strengthen narrative organization, and incorporate required revisions. - Coordinate and negotiate additional revisions with authors and stakeholders to resolve substantive and editorial discrepancies while maintaining the accuracy and intent of the original analysis. - Conduct final quality-control reviews of intelligence products to ensure editorial, formatting, classification, and publication requirements are satisfied prior to dissemination. Levels: - Junior: Minimum of one year of experience conducting analysis relevant to this Labor Category - Mid: Minimum of three (3) years of experience conducting analysis relevant to this Labor Category - Senior: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience conducting analysis relevant to this Labor Category - Expert: Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience conducting analysis relevant to this Labor Category Qualifications: - Experience applying intelligence editing principles, publication standards, style guides, and subject-matter terminology to the review and production of intelligence products. - Experience applying IC and DoD classification guidelines, security requirements, classification markings, caveats, and handling procedures when reviewing and editing intelligence products. - Experience reviewing intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling, clarity, consistency, organization, logical flow, and overall readability. - Experience evaluating analytical content for logical consistency, accuracy, clarity, and appropriate context while preserving the author's intended meaning and judgments. - Experience identifying and resolving contradictions, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and other editorial or substantive issues within intelligence products. - Experience reviewing tables, graphics, tone boxes, captions, and other visual elements to ensure consistency and alignment with accompanying narrative. - Experience collaborating with intelligence analysts and authors to reorganize narratives, clarify content, resolve discrepancies, and incorporate editorial revisions. - Experience communicating editorial recommendations clearly and professionally and negotiating revisions with authors and stakeholders. - Experience conducting structured research and organizing information in accordance with applicable security, classification, and data-handling requirements. - Experience working semi-independently with limited oversight while managing multiple products, deadlines, and competing editorial priorities. - Experience using Microsoft Office applications and electronic or web-enabled tools to edit, format, track, and produce intelligence products. Security Clearance: - TS/SCI Clearance Salary Range: $60,000 - $135,000 This range reflects Core One Solutions' current good-faith estimate for this labor category based on proposed contract pricing and comparable labor category rates. As this position is contingent upon contract award, final compensation will be confirmed based on the awarded contract's negotiated rates, applicable wage determinations, clearance requirements, and the selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
