Full Job Description
Role Overview

CCL is undertaking a major platform transformation to renew its Middle Office and Back Office investment operations capabilities. This includes the migration of core investment operations functionality and the coordination of related integration, data, conversion, and functional workstreams.

The Technical Delivery Lead will provide end-to-end technical delivery leadership across the Information Services streams supporting this transformation. This role will create a single coordinated view of technical delivery, dependencies, risks, decisions, and affiliate needs, helping ensure that multiple workstreams operate as one integrated program.

This is a senior delivery leadership role for someone who can move confidently between technical detail, delivery execution, stakeholder alignment, and executive-level communication. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to affiliate stakeholders, stream leads, the PMO, and Information Services leadership.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Technical Delivery Leadership
  • Own the integrated technical delivery view across all Information Services workstreams supporting the Middle Office and Back Office platform transformation.
  • Coordinate delivery across integration, data, conversion, functional, reporting, and related technology streams.
  • Build and maintain a clear view of cross-stream dependencies, risks, milestones, decisions, and delivery priorities.
  • Ensure technical delivery plans are realistic, coordinated, and aligned with business and affiliate outcomes.
  • Identify delivery gaps early and work with stream leads to resolve issues before they impact program momentum.

Cross-Stream Coordination and Execution
  • Lead the operating cadence across technical stream leads, including dependency reviews, issue resolution, blockers, and escalation preparation.
  • Translate complex delivery activity into a coherent program-level view for IS leadership, the PMO, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive clarity around ownership, decision flow, sequencing, and handoffs across workstreams.
  • Promote disciplined execution while maintaining flexibility to respond to evolving program needs.
  • Help create a delivery model that improves alignment, reduces friction, and strengthens execution confidence.

Affiliate and Stakeholder Partnership
  • Serve as the primary IS delivery counterpart for affiliate stakeholders on the platform transformation.
  • Understand affiliate priorities, operational impacts, and decision needs, and translate them into coordinated technical execution.
  • Provide clear communication on delivery status, risks, trade-offs, and required decisions.
  • Build trusted relationships with affiliate teams, PMO partners, senior technology leaders, and business stakeholders.
  • Represent Information Services as an integrated delivery partner with an end-to-end understanding of affiliate outcomes.

Risk, Issue, and Decision Management
  • Proactively identify technical and delivery risks across integration, data, conversion, and platform workstreams.
  • Surface issues early and frame them with clear options, impacts, recommendations, and decision paths.
  • Support solution-oriented escalation by ensuring risks and blockers are well understood and actionable.
  • Maintain transparency around the top cross-stream risks, dependencies, and delivery priorities.
  • Help improve decision velocity by connecting the right stakeholders to the right issues at the right time.

Delivery Model and Team Alignment
  • Work with IS leadership to assess whether additional architecture, delivery, or technical leadership capacity is required.
  • Help clarify roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities across senior technical resources involved in the program.
  • Support the effective deployment of experienced technical talent based on strengths, impact areas, and delivery needs.
  • Contribute to the design of a sustainable operating model for the future platform capability.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and outcome-oriented delivery culture.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 60 days, the Lead will have:
  • Established a clear integrated view of the top cross-stream risks, dependencies, priorities, and decisions.
  • Created a coordinated delivery rhythm across IS stream leads and key program stakeholders.
  • Built trusted working relationships with affiliate stakeholders, the PMO, and IS leadership.
  • Improved transparency and accountability across technical delivery workstreams.
  • Helped focus escalations on actionable issues, options, and decisions.
  • Provided a grounded recommendation on future delivery and architecture support needs.
  • Strengthened delivery momentum and confidence across the platform transformation.

Required Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, technical program leadership, or complex systems implementation.
  • Experience leading complex integration, platform migration, or enterprise technology transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of financial services technology environments, ideally within investment management, asset management, or buy-side operations.
  • Experience coordinating senior technical resources across multiple workstreams.
  • Proven ability to manage dependencies, risks, decisions, and stakeholder expectations in complex delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated success acting as a trusted delivery partner to business stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business and delivery implications.

Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of investment operations, including portfolio accounting, reconciliation, data warehousing, trade lifecycle, and OMS/EMS environments.
  • Experience with APX, Opterra, Arcesium, or comparable investment operations platforms.
  • Experience working with affiliate, multi-entity, or matrixed stakeholder environments.
  • Familiarity with data migration, system integration, conversion planning, and operational readiness.
  • Experience contributing to delivery model design, role clarity, or technology operating model improvements.

Key Capabilities
  • Senior technical delivery leadership
  • Cross-functional program coordination
  • Strong systems thinking and dependency management
  • Clear executive and stakeholder communication
  • Financial services and investment operations awareness
  • Risk, issue, and decision management
  • Ability to build trust across business, technology, and delivery teams
  • Practical judgment, ownership, and delivery discipline

This is an opportunity to play a leadership role in one of CCL's most important technology transformation initiatives. The Principal Technical Delivery Lead will help shape how Information Services delivers critical platform capabilities, partners with affiliates, and builds a more integrated delivery model for the future.

The role offers visibility to senior leaders, meaningful influence over the delivery structure, and the opportunity to strengthen a platform capability that is central to CCL's operating model and long-term technology strategy.
