Position SummaryThe Technical Coordinator-Laboratory is responsible for providing assistance to the section supervisor and/or manager for the technical, quality and operational oversight within assigned areas of responsibility in the Laboratory assuring that patient care needs are met in accordance with physician orders, established policies and procedures in an environment that facilitates optimal, cost efficient patient care delivery. This position provides indirect oversight to technical and non-technical staff and works closely with the section supervisor and/or manager including assistance with the day-to-day operations of assigned areas, ensuring the availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources. It supports collaboration between the technical and clerical staff, nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes.
Requirements- Bachelor's of Science in Medical Technology or equivalent
- AMT or ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist-certification maintained
- Specialized certification (SM) or eligible preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in clinical laboratory specialty
- Minimum one (1) year leadership and or training experience

Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $88,691.20 - $127,649.60 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
