The
Technical Consultant II is responsible for designing and implementing solutions that enable seamless interaction between multiple applications through unified interfaces or dashboards. The scope of this job includes establishing connections, protocols, and standards that allow disparate applications to exchange data, share resources, and collaborate effectively.
Key Responsibilities: - Execute assigned technical implementation tasks by applying established deployment documentation and adjusting steps when needed to resolve routine variations or environmental differences.
- Perform system integration and validation activities across assigned technical area and identify issues that require analysis across several factors.
- Configure system settings, access, integrations, and infrastructure for complex client requirements within assigned technical domain.
- Train client IT departments on system administration and technical operational tasks and provide consultative guidance on the technical ecosystem when appropriate.
- Participate in requirements gathering for limited-scope projects, anticipate follow-up questions, and adjust inquiries based on client responses to gather complete information efficiently.
- Conduct technical troubleshooting for issues of moderate scale, diagnose root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions within known solution patterns.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 2-4 years relevant work experience
- Experience developing business intelligence (BI) reporting
- Strong proficiency with SQL, including querying, troubleshooting, and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience implementing clinical or healthcare software solutions
- Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages to support automation and troubleshooting
- Experience configuring, consuming, or troubleshooting REST APIs and system integrations
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and take initiative in driving solutions
- Strong consulting and client relationship skills with the ability to lead implementation discussions and build trusted partnerships
Job Expectations: - Willing to travel up to 50% based on business needs
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
- Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
- Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
