Job Summary
The Technical Architect will support the design and implementation of advanced security solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments. The role focuses on cloud security architecture, AWS IAM, data protection, secure application deployment, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevSecOps practices. The position will provide technical and functional support across security domains while helping minimize security risks across cloud-native applications and data environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the secure deployment and integration of cloud and data security applications in regulated environments.
• Architect and automate CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates to support secure application development and deployment.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers, infrastructure teams, risk management, and other stakeholders to embed security throughout the application lifecycle.
• Design and implement security solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Apply AWS security architecture principles with a focus on AWS IAM, identity management, access controls, and secure cloud services.
• Support identity and access management, secret management, and encryption solutions.
• Apply security controls for data at rest and data in motion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Support end-to-end application development and integration across diverse applications and cloud environments.
• Apply DevSecOps practices to improve security throughout development, deployment, and operational processes.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software or systems architecture.
• 5+ years of experience working with cloud technologies or data engineering.
• SME-level expertise with AWS services, with a strong focus on architecture, security, and DevSecOps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS IAM.
• Experience working in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience deploying applications using CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) pipelines.
• Experience with public cloud data stores including AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Files.
• Experience working with various relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management, secret management, and encryption techniques.
• Knowledge of security measures for data at rest and data in motion.
• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and/or serverless computing.
• Experience supporting secure cloud-native application development and deployment.
• Strong critical-thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise AWS security architectures.
• Experience with DevSecOps, cloud security automation, and secure Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Experience supporting regulated enterprise environments.

• AWS certifications, including Solutions Architect or related AWS certifications.
• Data Engineer certification.

• Equivalent industry-recognized security or cloud certifications.
