CGI Montréal is seeking a Technical Architect, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) who is passionate about designing high-performing, scalable, and secure architectures. In this role, you will serve as the technical authority for the D365 F&O solution, defining architectural direction, ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft platforms and third-party systems, and guiding development teams in applying best practices. You will play a key role in the success of digital transformation initiatives by designing sustainable solutions, optimizing platform performance, and ensuring the quality of technical deliverables. Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Define the overall technical architecture for D365 F&O, including integration with other systems such as Azure, Power Platform, CRM solutions, and third-party applications.
• Design complex integration architectures using REST/SOAP services, OData, and the Data Management Framework (DMF).
• Oversee the full development lifecycle (X++), ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices, particularly the extensions-based approach.
• Design and lead complex data migration initiatives, including data modeling and governance strategies.
• Architect system interfaces (REST/SOAP APIs, OData, DMF) and ensure security compliance, including Azure SQL and access management.
• Analyze and optimize system performance, including database tuning, query optimization, and infrastructure configuration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support change management activities and resolve complex technical issues within Azure and Power Platform environments.
• Mentor technical teams and bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations as a Senior Technical Consultant or Technical Architect
• Advanced expertise in X++ development and high-performance development standards
• Strong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous architectures, including Logic Apps and Azure Service Bus
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Function Apps, Event Grid, and Azure SQL
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE), the Power Platform, and related Azure services
• Demonstrated experience across the full ERP project lifecycle, ideally within a systems integrator (SI) environment
• Excellent team leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
• Ability to become operational quickly and flexibility to travel occasionally as required

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 80 000$ et 155 000$. This position is a future opportunity.
