PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation - Responsible for providing application and data architecture, strategic vision, and proactive problem anticipation and solving at an enterprise level, specifically focused on eCommerce application. Provide comprehensive technical and architectural direction to the software development team, ensuring alignment with eCommerce best practices and standards. Demonstrate a strong commitment to agile development processes and methodologies, promoting continuous improvement and innovation. Translate complex business challenges into robust technical solutions, ensuring scalability and performance optimization for eCommerce platforms. Ensure that development efforts are adhering to analysis, design and development standards. Manages day-to-day issues and tasks related to the development life cycle of multiple IT projects. Provide insight and guidance on overall system design and provides technical leadership to development staff as required. Responsible for business object architecture and application technical architecture. Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for application architecture and development, focusing on future-proofing the eCommerce platform and integrating emerging technologies. Document and communicates architectural requirements within a distributed development environment, including standards and processes. Collaborates closely with development managers, business stakeholders, and senior IT staff to align architectural strategies with business objectives and enhance the overall eCommerce experience. Recommends proactive courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness. Proactively assists in defining direction for future projects. Establishes audit objectives and devises audit plans to ensure continued data integrity in our applications systems. Recommend designs for information systems that will perform well logically and physically in our environment. #LI-DNI

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, along with at least five years of experience in a related field. Experience must include: Java enterprise web development languages for backend programming; utilizing SAP Hybris eCommerce platforms for building B2B storefronts; utilizing UI technologies to build the front-end components; using software development Agile methodology; using ECC integrations gateway and API; tuning and optimizing applications during heavy loads; using system monitoring tools including Dynatrace and New Relic; and Analyzing PLSQL development and Oracle using performance use cases.
