Key Responsibilities:
Design, maintain, and optimize the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Establish and maintain relationships between Configuration Items (CIs) across infrastructure, applications, and business services.
Implement and support data ingestion and integration processes from multiple enterprise systems into the ServiceNow CMDB.
Apply and maintain the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework across the ServiceNow platform.
Develop and manage relationships between Business Applications, Service Instances, Technology Management Services, Service Offerings, Business Capabilities, and related CIs.
Ensure IT asset and service data is structured and governed in accordance with CSDM best practices.
Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to improve CMDB data quality and service visibility.
Define and enforce governance policies for Configuration Item (CI) lifecycle management, including creation, modification, and retirement.
Support Change Management processes by ensuring CMDB updates accurately reflect approved infrastructure and application changes.
Develop and monitor CMDB health dashboards, KPIs, and data quality metrics.
Identify and remediate stale, duplicate, orphaned, or inaccurate CMDB records.
Work closely with CI owners, auditors, and governance teams to support compliance initiatives and audit requirements.
Recommend and implement continuous improvements for CMDB processes, governance, and automation.
