Full Job Description
The law firm of Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt LLP ("Oblon") seeks Patent Agents or Technical Advisors experienced in patent application drafting and prosecution to join its Chemical practice.

A minimum of 2 years experience in patent application drafting and/or prosecution in a law firm setting is required. We require a technical degree in the areas of inorganic chemistry; organic chemistry; or chemical engineering. A Master's or Doctorate in the relevant field is a plus, as is industry experience. Candidates must possess superior technical knowledge, writing and communication skills. Responsibilities include drafting patent applications; analysis and preparation of replies to office actions; invention and disclosure meetings/calls with clients; and prosecution of patent applications.

The annual salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000. The salary offered will depend upon qualifications and experience.
