Full Job Description
Everforth ECS is seeking an Technical Advisor - Advanced Materials & Molecular Engineering to work in our Arlington, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.

We are seeking a Technical Advisor to support advanced research and development efforts focused on polymeric materials, molecular-scale engineering, and emerging materials technologies. The successful candidate will provide technical support in the evaluation of research activities, assessment of technical progress, and identification of opportunities and risks across a portfolio of cutting-edge materials programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in polymer chemistry, materials science, or a related technical discipline and be comfortable engaging with researchers from academia, industry, and government laboratories. This role requires the ability to understand complex technical concepts, evaluate research findings, and communicate observations and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Master's Degree in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Applied Physics, or a related technical discipline
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Secret clearance, however exceptional candidates with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance will also be considered.
  • Knowledge of polymer chemistry, polymeric materials, or related materials science disciplines
  • Understanding of material design, synthesis, characterization, or fabrication processes
  • Ability to analyze technical reports, research publications, and experimental results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to summarize technical concepts and research findings for diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
