Technical Account Manager

About your role:

As a Technical Account Manager, you will serve as a primary technical contact for bank clients using Finxact solutions. You will work across client teams and internal partners including Client Services, Implementations, Sales, Technology, DevOps, and Finance to address technical needs, support service delivery, and align solutions to client goals. Your work helps clients operate effectively, resolve issues, and plan for growth.

What you'll do:
  • Manage technical relationships for assigned bank clients and serve as a point of contact for client questions, issues, and service needs.
  • Coordinate resolution of technical requests and production issues with Client Services, Implementations, Sales, Technology, and DevOps teams.
  • Review monthly invoicing with Finance and Implementations teams, escalate billing issues, and track aged receivables to support account health.
  • Plan and coordinate client environment upgrades with Technology teams to support system performance, stability, and release readiness.
  • Lead small client projects by defining scope, tracking actions, coordinating subject matter experts, and monitoring delivery against timelines.
  • Track account performance metrics, key performance indicators, and client roadmaps, and communicate progress, risks, and priorities to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client processes, expand solution adoption, and strengthen service outcomes through data, feedback, and account insight.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 6+ years of experience in financial services, banking, or financial technology in a client-facing technical account management, implementation, support, or service role.
  • 6+ years of experience working with bank operations, loan servicing, deposit operations, card processing, customer relationship management systems, interface development, or related financial technology environments.
  • 6+ years of experience gathering technical requirements, analyzing data, and communicating business and technical information to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • 6+ years of experience managing project deliverables, coordinating cross-functional teams, and executing against time-sensitive timelines.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Confluence, Jira, or similar business and project management tools.
  • Working knowledge of application programming interfaces (APIs), cloud architecture, and core technical concepts across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.


Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience supporting core banking or digital banking platforms in a software-as-a-service environment.
  • Experience with invoicing review, receivables tracking, or account financial operations in a client services setting.
  • Experience presenting account status, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting Finxact products or modern banking platform implementations.


How you'll work:
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday with the hours generally being 8:00am - 5:00pm. This position is likely to require long hours and weekend work.
  • Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.


Travel:

Approximately 30% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
