Position Responsibilities:
Support a portfolio of Data Center Construction projects by conducting bid analysis and cost management, engaging and managing third party Quantity Surveyor vendors, identifying Value Engineering opportunities in the design and quantifying the savings. Identify project risks and the associated financial cost impacts by communicating to the broader team, updating the repository for historical data, and defining and tracking cost performance metrics. Analyze and provide timely feedback of construction vendor proposals using AWS benchmark data, create accurate bid leveling documents, cost analysis of schedule and design variations, and validation of final award amounts and scope based on contract documents including schedule. Manage all cost control, change management, progress and performance reporting, including validating change cost impacts, ensuring vendor invoices are accurate and timely, and supporting the construction team with project close-out and final payments.
40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range: $160,493/year to $210,800/year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skills: (1) construction cost control, with specific knowledge of electrical, mechanical or ASC cost elements; (2) experience in construction management of large projects involving data centers or other mission critical construction environments; (3) reviewing and justifying budgets and using estimating software including CostX, Cubit, Onscreen takeoff, Timberline, and Bluebeam; (4) performing complex data analysis to identify and quantify engineering opportunities and communicating strategies to management including construction and non-construction professionals; and (5) general contractor and vendor management, including request for proposals, bidding, change orders, quality control, and RFI/submittal tracking.
