Senior Technical Specialist with Epic User Access and Provider (SER) provisioning certification for an EHR build project for DHHS DSOHF facilities.
ONLY CANDIDATES WITH EPIC SECURITY CERTIFICATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provisions application security levels and roles
• Establishes ownership of each particular security class
• Coordinates security template and role updates and establishes a security change control process
• Coordinates security-related activity across network, servers,
• operating system and application, Epic or non-Epic teams
• Works with application and compliance teams to design system-level access
• Creates user records and maps them to templates built by application coordinators/analysts
• Creates appropriate shared security classifications which do not have specific application ownership
• Creates and maintains procedures to activate, deactivate, and update user records
Skill Required
Desired Amount of Experience Certified by Epic in Security and Security Coordinator
Required 3Years Understands the Epic software security structures, including user profiles, roles, and security classes.
Required 3Years Understanding of concepts of confidentiality and data security
Required 5Years Security administration experience
Required 5Years Problem Solving, Collaboration and Customer Service
Required 5Years Oral and Written communications
Required 5Years Ability to identify and escalate issues and mitigate identified risks.
Required 5Years Health information technology experience
