Full Job Description
As a Tech Lead, CI/CD DevOps, you play a key role in modernizing the organization's software delivery tools and processes. You're responsible for the implementation, evolution and reliability of CI/CD channels that use Azure and GitHub Actions and contribute to the adoption of mature and secure DevOps practices. Your robust technical expertise is accompanied by communication and coaching skills, which you use to help teams adopt new tools and automation approaches. In addition to designing and optimizing technical pipelines, you're involved with change management duties required for their large-scale adoption. As part of your expanded role within the squad, you also act as a Product Owner (PO) for CI/CD capabilities and make sure team needs are aligned with organizational priorities and the DevOps tools roadmap. You combine strategic vision, technical execution and prioritization to maximize value for our teams and the organization. You leverage strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills to mobilize active players, promote best practices and help grow the DevOps culture across the organization. More specifically, you will be required to:
  • Design, rollout and promote robust, standardized and automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate builds, tests, quality checks and multi-environment deployments
  • Manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and optimize their performance
  • Use Maven and Gradle to automate Java project processes such as managing dependencies and compilation, and use npm and Yarn to automate JavaScript projects and add steps to CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure and architecture teams
  • Prioritize and drive a CI/CD capability improvement backlog based on value and needs
  • Create a vision and roadmap for CI/CD practices and tools
  • Help teams adopt, develop and become autonomous in their skills
  • Participate in the squad's Agile activities
