Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent echocardiography experience preferred
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA required
• Proficient in transthoracic, stress, and possibly transesophageal echocardiograms
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics
• Ability to work with patients across all age groups

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive cardiac ultrasounds to evaluate heart structure and function
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists to ensure accurate imaging and preliminary findings
• Ensure high-quality images are prepared for diagnostic and treatment planning
• Work efficiently within a scheduled timeframe to accommodate patient needs
• Maintain compliance with all safety and procedural guidelines
