The Team Manager Shift for Central Maintenance will lead the Shift Maintenance Team at ArcelorMittalCalvert consisting of 4 Shift Managers and 32 Technicians responsible for about 100 cranes on site. As such, the Team Manager Shift will provide technical support/leadership for Central Maintenance Technicians and Shift Managers for reactive, proactive and preventive maintenance work.
The Basics:- High School Diploma, post-secondary technical education, Level 1 Certification in Vibration Analysis, Professional Engineer License (PE) helpful, B.S. Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 5-10 years' experience with direct responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and reliability of complex mechanical and electrical systems
- 5 years' experience managing maintenance personnel, with demonstrated experience in working with multi-skilled maintenance teams and recourse allocation
- Demonstrated knowledge of crane control and crane mechanical systems
- General knowledge of crane automation and tracking system
- Working knowledge of OSHA, ASME crane safety and inspection requirements
- Ability to work with and/or lead people to create a positive work culture and achieve
positive results
- Experience budgeting and forecasting operating and maintenance costs
- Intermediate to proficient skills with Microsoft products, SAP and ERP Systems
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Central Maintenance and Internal Logistics operating and maintenance practices.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING- Interfaces and oversees performance of crane maintenance and project work
- Interfaces and oversees crane maintenance and technical issues related to site power and utility systems
- Supports all production lines and maintenance activities to develop and implement program interface scheduling required to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiencies
- Investigates and supports/performs technical analysis on all crane deficiencies related to repeat occurrences and/or components affecting load bearing, load controlling or operational safety devices
- Provides clear and concise documentation for work order completion and work history documentation
- Reviews OEM manuals and procedures for adaptation and incorporates support when issues arise
- Provides incident investigation and root cause failure analysis support to improve safety and reliability

- Days, Monday to Friday with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads or weekend coverage
