Summary of Responsibilities:

Lead the Supply Chain That Powers the Grid

As Team Leader Supply Chain, you'll provide leadership and functional oversight for Supply Chain professionals responsible for procurement, sourcing, contract administration, supplier partnerships, inventory planning, and category management activities supporting ATC's capital projects and operational needs.
You'll collaborate with leaders across Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Operations, Finance, and other business functions to ensure materials and services are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost effectively while mitigating supply chain, commercial, technical, and operational risks.

What You'll Do

Lead People & Build Capability

  • Coach, mentor, and develop Supply Chain professionals
  • Foster a collaborative, engaged, and accountable team culture
  • Support hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, and succession development
  • Balance workloads while helping employees expand capabilities and grow professionally
  • Strengthen organizational capabilities through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing


Drive Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Excellence

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, reliability, and risk
  • Lead procurement activities supporting major transmission and infrastructure projects
  • Partner with business leaders to identify strategic sourcing opportunities
  • Support development and negotiation of supplier and contractor agreements
  • Influence enterprise sourcing decisions and long-term procurement strategies


Strengthen Supplier Partnerships & Risk Management

  • Build productive relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor commodity markets, supplier capabilities, and industry trends
  • Develop market intelligence that supports informed procurement decisions
  • Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Improve supplier performance, continuity, and long-term value creation


Improve Processes & Business Performance

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on lifecycle cost, service, inventory, and delivery performance
  • Develop efficient, scalable Supply Chain processes aligned with organizational goals
  • Use analytics and business insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Support implementation of new tools, technologies, and operational practices
  • Create measurable improvements in efficiency, compliance, and supply chain effectiveness


Ensure Compliance & Governance

  • Implement procurement policies, standards, and controls
  • Support compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements
  • Monitor process adherence and facilitate training where needed
  • Help ensure procurement decisions are transparent, documented, and auditable
  • Promote ethical business practices and stewardship throughout the supply chain function


What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
  • Seven or more years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, contract administration, supplier relationship management, inventory planning, operations, or related disciplines
  • Strong experience with supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement strategy
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience using ERP or procure-to-pay systems such as Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced business-related degree
  • Experience within utilities, energy, infrastructure, EPC, construction, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive industries
  • Experience supporting large capital projects or construction portfolios
  • Power BI or advanced analytics experience
  • CSCP, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma, or related professional certification
  • Deep knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, demand planning, and project-based procurement

The targeted base pay for this position is $137,900 to $160,900 annually.* Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more.
