A Snapshot of Your Day

The Project Manager Team Lead is responsible for delivering complex, multi-stakeholder customer projects while providing leadership, guidance, and development for a team of Project Managers. This role oversees project governance, drives operational excellence, and ensures safe, compliant execution of transformer projects within the Siemens Energy US business area. The position interfaces with global factory teams, logistics, field service, engineering, proposals, and commercial functions to ensure successful project outcomes and positive customer experience.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Project Managers and Associate Project Managers, fostering professional growth, balanced workloads, accountability, and a high-performance team culture.
  • Managing the end-to-end execution of complex projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, in compliance with contractual requirements, and through successful warranty closeout.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact, proactively resolving issues, and driving high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Partnering with factories, commercial project managers, logistics teams, installation advisors, and subcontractors to optimize resource allocation, field execution, cost control, forecasting, and change order management.
  • Driving portfolio reviews, milestone gate processes, risk management activities, and lessons learned sessions to ensure effective governance, proactive issue resolution, and continuous project improvement.
  • Maintaining project performance visibility by tracking KPIs, financial results, schedules, risks, and documentation while identifying opportunities to enhance project management best practices across the organization.


What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 4 or more years of relevant project management experience. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, or developing Project Managers.
  • Strong project planning, scheduling, communication, and coordination skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and cost control.
  • Excellent organizational, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of contract documents, project scope, schedules, and technical and commercial requirements.
  • Proficiency with project management tools for scheduling, risk management, and reporting; IPMA or equivalent project management certification preferred (required over time).
Travel, as needed (10%)
