The primary focus will be strategic leadership for the team, helping with technical work when necessary. The role will lead and manage the resources within the team and provide guidance around career growth and long-term strategy. This includes writing performance reviews, having regular team meetings, one on ones, and planning compensation. You will participate in all other leadership activities at WWT as well. In this position, there will be ample opportunity to guide resources on the team to fine- tune their technical and non-technical skills. This requires staying current on the Puppet and Ansible product roadmaps and maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships to translate platform capabilities into concrete value for the teams we support. Metrics play a critical role with the team. It is paramount that the team lead understands how to read, build, and shape reports that seek to understand how the team is performing and what new opportunities lie ahead for the team. This position will work closely with customers, striving to drive long-term solutions, and continue to reduce support for them. • Gather and analyze metrics around products and processes to help guide the team in the short and long-term
