JOB DESCRIPTION
The Customer Connectivity Team Lead is responsible for driving metrics, reporting, and the strategic coordination of day-to-day activities across the Connectivity Operations teams. By acting as the central hub for operational tracking and cross-team coordination, the Connectivity PM partners closely with team managers to offload administrative and project tracking burdens. This critical support is designed to free up manager and leadership bandwidth, allowing them to focus on resource engagement, complex business escalations, team development, and strategic initiatives.
Please note this is a hybrid opportunity (3 days in office & 2 days WFH). The position can be based in one of the following locations: Schaumburg IL, Secaucus, NJ, Lenexa, KS, Dallas, TX & Tampa, FL.
Pay Range:$95,000 - $100,000 / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Metrics & Reporting: Develop, track, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics for the Connectivity Ops team. Create and maintain comprehensive dashboards and regular reporting packages for leadership to provide visibility into team capacity, throughput, and project health.
- Strategic Coordination: Oversee the strategic coordination of day-to-day team activities, ensuring alignment with overall business priorities, core operational SLAs, and NOVA project dependencies.
- Leadership Support: Partner closely with team managers and leads to absorb project tracking, status updates, and routine coordination tasks.
- Capacity Planning: Facilitate regular operational reviews and capacity planning sessions with team leaders to proactively identify resource constraints and balance workloads.
- Process Improvement: Identify process bottlenecks in day-to-day operations and recommend strategic workflow improvements to optimize team efficiency.
- Communication Hub: Serve as a central communication liaison across the Connectivity Ops teams, ensuring consistent alignment on daily priorities and upcoming deliverables.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, operational management, or PMO roles, preferably in a healthcare or IT operations setting.
- Strong expertise in data tracking, metrics development, and executive reporting.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with functional managers and senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on synthesizing complex operational data into actionable insights.
Preferred:
- Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Smartsheet, Advanced Excel).
- Familiarity with laboratory operations, EMR integrations, or clinical information systems.
- PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma/Lean certifications.
- Exposure to AI tools such as Gemini and Copilot
Supervision Exercised: Some Supervision Customer Integration Solutions Specialists
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Registered as an MLS or MT with the ASCP, strongly preferred
Work Experience:
3 to 6 years of experience with clinical laboratory or EMR systems.
Prior, proven experience in complex project management is required – Ideally in clinical (hospital or physician) settings, clinical laboratory preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills including laboratory medicine terminology.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills (technically and from a business perspective).
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multitask required.
Familiarity with HL7 standards.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with a commercial Integration Engine Product a plus.
Other: Minimal travel – less than 20%
