Job DescriptionJefferson Solutions is seeking a candidate to serve as Team Lead/Acquisition Specialist position. This position requires an understanding of federal contracting regulations and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary government teams, service providers, and other stakeholders. This is a full-time, remote position.
The Team Lead/Acquisition Specialist will guide and mentor employees in conducting day-to-day tasks and provide quality assurance and quality control of the work products while also managing a workload of acquisition support efforts.
The annual salary range for this position is $100,000.00-$118,000.00. The annual salary range is negotiable. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
Duties include:
• Personnel Management
o Hire and onboard employees.
o On-Board/Off-Board employees to the company and to the client, including communicating status and needs
o Approve timecards and resolve any issues with invoicing
o Conduct employee performance evaluations
• Work Direction, Oversight, and Execution
o Assign employees to project tasks and deliverables
o Prepare and administer the quality assurance program and the quality control plan
o Review documentation to ensure quality
o Mentor and guide employees in completing the work products
o Assist in the delivery and execution of work products
• Management
o Develop and maintain tools to monitor and report work assignments, tasks, and deliverables
o Monitor and track employee use of Government Furnished Materials
o Prepare status reports
o Attend meetings with Government leadership to discuss the project, strategy, and provide updates
• Client Acquisition Efforts
o Serve as Acquisition Support Team (AST) Coordinator, coordinating AST activities in support of Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs)
o Serve as Data Call Coordinator
o Prepare documentation necessary for complex and critical acquisition packages
o Serve as Communications Liaison for Invoice Hold reports
o Serve as HCAS Requisitioner
Requirements:• Bachelor's Degree
• At least two years of relevant experience
• An understanding of federal contracting and experience preparing complete and actionable requirements package development
• Adept with Microsoft Office suite/Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/Lists, Visio, Teams) and ability to quickly learn and navigate new software
Preferred Experience• At least seven years of experience
