Job Title: Team Leader - Manufacturing (Off-Shift)

Department / Division: Quincy Plant / Manufacturing

Paygrade: EX1- 14

Salary Range: $77,600 - $85,800 plus an annual bonus

What do we need:

We seek a Team Leader to support the Nutrilite Botanical Concentrate work centers. This position will work a 2nd shift schedule (4:00 PM - 4:00 AM) that rotates with the team every 10 weeks. The schedule includes an 8-hour fourth day every other week, averaging 40 hours weekly. Flexibility in shift scheduling is expected.

  • Front Half Rotation - Monday through Thursday from 4 pm - 4:30 am
  • Back Half Rotation - Wednesday through Saturday from 4 pm - 4:30 am

In this role, you will be on a team tasked with developing and supporting our manufacturing strategy focused on safely delivering a consistent supply of cost-competitive, quality products to our customers worldwide. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work closely with supply chain partners as operations reach a steady state and stabilize.

As the Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day work of your manufacturing team, support plant initiatives and processes, and focus on raising the bar to the next level of optimization. In addition to leading your group, you will work on future growth opportunities for the operation. This multi-functional role will support training, motivation, and feedback to team members. You will be responsible for shift assignments, staffing, maintaining performance standards, conducting performance reviews, and setting the example for modeling team behaviors.

From an operational standpoint, you will focus on providing a safe work environment that delivers quality products. Your passion for leadership in this plant will allow you to demonstrate transformative results in a dynamic work environment. You will lead an exciting team and be responsible for solving problems to deliver highly impactful operational results.

What's special about this team:

The Quincy Plant extracts and concentrates nutrients for our Nutrilite Brand. The Heat Treatment and Milling Work Centers currently run 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, requiring the Technicians to work 3-12 ½ hour shifts.

Required qualifications:
  • 3 years' experience in manufacturing management, with supervision experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor, provide feedback, and handle conflict management
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience


Skills to be successful in the role:
  • Prior experience in food, dietary supplements, or drug production environment
  • Prior experience leading a project or making a positive impact on a business result
  • Ability to work with cross-functional partners
  • Proficient with MS Office and have the ability to pick up ERP systems, including JDE and dcLink
