Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is seeking the position of Tealium Senior Software Engineer (multiple positions) in Irving, TX.
Essential Responsibilities:- Automate and optimize data collection, data quality, and monitor processes using JavaScript.
- Analyze large datasets using SQL and third-party analytics platforms such as adobe analytics to extract insights and optimize data strategies.
- Design and document the technical architecture for Tealium server-side implementations, including JavaScript based data layer specifications, API interaction models, and server-side event processing workflows.
- Build and implement tag and pixel strategies within Tealium IQ using JavaScript extensions, load rules, custom conditions, and event handlers to ensure accurate collection and firing of marketing pixels.
- Develop enterprise-level digital data collection strategies using JavaScript-driven data layer architectures such as UTAG, custom objects, and event listeners that align with marketing, analytics, and business objectives.
Basic Qualifications:Position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, and 3 years in a Software Developer, or related, occupation.
Required Skills/Experience:Must include 3 years of experience with each of the following:
1. Tealium IQ for client-side tag management to deploy and manage marketing and analytics tags with code changes;
2. Tealium Server-Side Event Stream and Tealium Server-Side Audience Stream to implement server-side event processing and audience segmentation;
3. Adobe Analytics for digital analytics and reporting;
4. JavaScript for writing custom tags, data layer enrichment, and troubleshooting client-side implementations in Adobe Analytics;
5. Tableau for creating dashboards and visualizations to present analytics data to stakeholders; and,
6. SQL for querying and managing data in relational databases, validating data pipelines, and extracting insights for reporting and analysis.
