Job Description:
Facilitates an innovative classroom environment for students to construct their own learning opportunities using design thinking, engineering, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication. Collaborates with other STEM and content-area teachers to authentically integrate multiple disciplines (topics such as alternative energy, robotics, mechanics, and social innovation). Understanding of problem-based learning and the ability to measure student growth in nontraditional ways.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Occasional lifting five (5) to ten (10) pounds
• Frequent sitting and standing
• Occasional bending or squatting

Position Specific Information (if Applicable):

This job would entail 5 class periods of STEM, one advisement period, and 2 planning periods. This job is for the second half of the 2026/2027 school year.

--- Collaborate with other STEM and content area teachers to integrate and support all contents.
