About the job:

The Senior Architect is responsible for working independently and leading the resolution of varied and non-routine complex technical requirements, exercising independent judgment and creative solutioning, to achieve functional and non-functional targets and goals. This role supports the development and review of complex and compelling task lists, leads complex customer engagements, and mentors junior team members. The Senior Architect may coordinate the activities of other team members (team lead) to ensure successful completion of projects and assignments. This role is responsible for mentoring and providing guidance and advice to new team members.

What you will do:
  • Supports the development and review of complex task lists, providing expert guidance on project scoping and ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Leads multiple standard engagements or multiple work streams on a complex engagement acting as a trusted advisor and influencing solution adoption.
  • Guides pilot and production deployments, ensuring successful implementation and integration of Red Hat solutions.
  • Mentors and provides guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring consistent quality of service delivery.
  • Proactively identifies and addresses potential technical challenges, developing creative and compelling solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
  • Champions the value of the Red Hat Services Portfolio, including Consulting, Training, and Technical Account Managers and integrating it strategically into customer solutions.
  • Provides expert customer feedback to internal teams, influencing product development and service enhancements.
  • Leads internal initiatives that foster innovation, efficiency, and growth within the Services business.


What you will bring:
  • Services Solution Architecture: Expertly designs and implements complex solutions that contribute to revenue growth.
  • Consultative Selling: Leads consultative engagements, understanding complex business challenges, and develops tailored solutions.
  • Technical Requirements Gathering: Expertly elicits and analyzes complex functional and non-functional requirements and translates them into actionable solutions.
  • Level of Effort Estimation (LOE): Expertly assesses the complexity and time required for various tasks, using past experiences and relevant metrics to provide accurate LOE estimates.
  • Red Hat Product Knowledge: Expert understanding of Red Hat's product portfolio and its application in diverse environments.
  • Product Demonstrations: Delivers compelling presentations and solution demonstrations to diverse audiences.
  • Mentorship: Guides and supports the development of junior team members.


The salary range for this position is $118,600.00 - $277,350.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
