Full Job Description
TDP Architect- Senior Architect, AI Services Platform Team (SPT)

About the Role
This is a highly strategic program offering massive career visibility and progression as Red Hat moves fast to capture market share in a new, disruptive space. As an Architect (Sr. Architect considered) on our newly formed AI Services Platform Team (SPT) team, you will live precisely at the intersection of technical sales solutioning, service delivery, and product engineering influence.

We do not just need a "hero" architect who can fix one hard problem; we need an architect who thinks about the entire business lifecycle and possesses a comprehensive understanding of the entire Red Hat portfolio with a focus on AI. As a leader you will engage early in customer pursuits, help drive a number, and define the implementation objectives for our strategic AI bets. Crucially, you will take customer feedback from these initial deliveries to global Go-to-Market (GTM), delivery, and product engineering teams to advance Red Hat's entire AI ecosystem. This is your opportunity to help build Red Hat's next big technology bet.

What You Will Do
The AI Strategic Motions:
  • Evangelize & Scope AI Offerings: Partner closely with field and AI Specialist teams to evangelize, scope, and deliver Red Hat AI service offerings. You will drive opinionated approaches to specific use cases that deliver high velocity and immediate value to customers in the AI space.
  • Pioneer "First-of-a-Kind" Solutions: Develop and deliver highly customized, first-of-a-kind offerings for customer delivery. Your work on these initial engagements will directly shape future repeatable service offerings, our go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and our long-term product direction.
  • Drive Delivery Continuity: Serve as the critical thread of service delivery continuity bridging the gap between initial sales solutioning and flawless execution for customers in this highly strategic space.
  • Scale AI Expertise Globally: Transform your projects into repeatable engines. You will aid in the development of global best practices, enablement collateral, and delivery guardrails to scale our AI service offerings to peers, product engineering, and GTM teams.

Senior Architectural & Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Work independently and lead the resolution of varied and non-routine complex technical requirements, exercising independent judgment and creative solutioning to achieve functional and non-functional targets.
  • Support the development and review of complex task lists, providing expert guidance on project scoping and ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Lead multiple standard engagements or multiple workstreams on a complex engagement, acting as a trusted advisor and influencing solution adoption.
  • Guide pilot and production deployments, ensuring successful implementation and integration of Red Hat solutions.
  • Proactively identify and address potential technical challenges, developing creative and compelling solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
  • Champion the value of the Red Hat Services Portfolio including Consulting, Training, and Technical Account Managers and integrate it strategically into customer solutions.
  • Engage at a high level with customers to understand the complexities of their business, mentor junior-level service members, and engage with senior Red Hat leadership regularly to course-correct and define market strategies.

What You Will Bring
  • AI Portfolio Expertise: Deep, comprehensive understanding of the entire Red Hat AI portfolio of products, and the ability to apply these technologies to modern business challenges. Our Architects need to understand market leading capabilities and how they integrate into our platform to deliver strategic solutions.
  • Cross Portfolio Expertise: Expert understanding of Red Hat's product portfolio and its application in diverse environments. Ability to tie the value of Red Hat AI solutions to the greater ecosystem of Red Hat and IBM offerings
  • Services Solution Architecture: Expertly designs and implements complex solutions that contribute to revenue growth and scalable service models.
  • Consultative Selling: Leads consultative engagements, understanding complex business challenges, and develops tailored, high-value AI solutions.
  • Technical Requirements Gathering: Expertly elicits and analyzes complex functional and non-functional requirements and translates them into actionable execution plans.
  • Level of Effort Estimation (LOE): Expertly assesses the complexity and time required for various tasks, using past experiences and relevant metrics to provide accurate LOE estimates for bleeding-edge technologies.
  • Presentation Skills: Delivers compelling, visionary presentations to diverse audiences, from engineering teams to C-level executives.
  • Mentorship & Enablement: Guides and supports the development of junior team members and builds enablement kits to scale institutional knowledge.
