Our national Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Tax group is an advisory practice with significant advancement opportunities. We advise private equity firms, family offices, privately heldcompaniesand multinational corporations on the tax aspects of planning,structuringand executing M&A transactions. RSM US LLP is looking for a dynamic Financial Instruments Tax Senior Managerto join our Washington National Tax Practice.This is a rapidly growing consulting practice with significant advancement opportunities. We advise multinational corporations, privatelyheldcompanies, partnerships, and private equity firms on the tax aspects of planning, structuring, and executing M&A transactions. As a member ofour Washington National Tax team,youwouldplay a critical role providing advice to our clients and firm personnel in the areas of financial instruments, corporate, and M&A tax. In this role you would have the opportunity to advise on wide ranging issues such as recapitalization, restructuring and bankruptcy transactions, classification, sales, and exchanges of financial instruments, deductibility of interest, hedging transactions, and many others. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range. Compensation Range: $170,700 - $342,700 Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
